What We Teach

Kung Fu San Soo
Based on five "families" of techniques, high level self-defense system. It is based on a combination of punches, kicks, strikes and blocks done in perfect rhythm and directed to vital points of the human body. The techniques can be changed instantly to suit the situation and do not necessarily follow a set pattern. The techniques are unlimited, allowing each individual to develop his or her own style. Techniques are utilized based on one’s physical size, conditioning, and ability, enabling the student to effectively use them in any situation.

Grappling/Ground Fighting
This consists of wrestling and ground fighting techniques and concepts from Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, Judo, Greco-Roman and others.

Boxing/Kick-boxing Sparring
Real full contact sparring with complete protection. Traditional Boxing is taught as well as American Freestyle Kick-Boxing.

Internal Arts
Consists of forms, techniques and concepts from the 3 traditional internal martial Arts: Ba Qua, Hsing-I and T'ai Chi.

Weapons
Most of the traditional Chinese and Japanese weapons are used. Also, practiced is defense against weapons such as knives, guns, and sticks.

Health
Principles of internal health (Chi Kung), balance/posture, and body mechanics make a person perform to maximum efficiency.
